Are you highly organized, proactive, and passionate about contributing to cutting-edge scientific environments? We are looking for a dedicated FoH Administrator / Technical Administrator to join our on-site PerkinElmer customer services team at the Ware Campus.
In this pivotal role, you will ensure the smooth operation of critical systems and processes by managing third-party contractors and maintaining compliance with industry standards. You'll play an essential role in supporting groundbreaking research by ensuring equipment and processes meet exacting standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Streamlining Operations: Administer and maintain the computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring timely updates and closures of work orders to exceed contractual metrics.
Compliance Champion: Collaborate with third-party contractors to ensure compliance with GSK guidelines, including risk assessments, method statements, and permits.
Induction & Training Management: Oversee EHS and GXP induction processes for third-party contractors, ensuring all documentation is complete before work begins.
Documentation & Audit Support: Maintain compliant documentation, including service reports and calibration labels, in line with GxP and GDP standards. Assist in audit preparations.
Daily Coordination: Act as the first point of contact for contractors, managing schedules and liaising with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
Safety & Security Oversight: Perform security vetting checks and enforce safety procedures for all on-site contractors.
What You Bring:
Industry Knowledge: Background in the Life Sciences industry and familiarity with GxP standards are highly desirable.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CMMS databases, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and excellent digital organizational skills.
Customer-Focused Mindset: A proven commitment to exceptional customer service.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to engage effectively with teams and contractors.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in managing documentation and compliance procedures.
Experience: At least 5 years in a customer service environment (a laboratory environment knowledge would be a plus).
