Responsibilities

Ensures compliance with all government laws and regulations relating to environmental safety. Develops and administers policies, procedures and training programs relating to hazardous, material handling and industrial safety. Also acts as a Radiation Safety Officer for the company. Serves as point of contact for external agencies including emergency response personnel. Develops, implements and monitors company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental, health and safety regulations.
Key Accountabilities
Provide EHS information, reports and training
Track and review EHS management Programs
Support EHS committees and lead EHS internal audits
Act as Radiation Safety Officer for Singapore site
Monitor and update all company licenses/permits
Monitor and work with respective departments on individual licenses/permits renewal
Plan and conduct training to Shopfloor employees on EHS related documents on a regular basis, at least once a year
Ensure company’s compliance with legal requirements
Drive EHS activities, ensuring compliance with Corporate EHS requirements
Conduct monthly EHS inspections together with EHS committee members
Promote safety and health by conducting in-house safety / health campaigns
Monitor industrial hygiene programs, conduct hazard analysis of hazardous substances and evaluate hazard control methods
Ensure company complies with the ISO14001 and ISO45001 Management Systems requirements
Work closely with contractors, vendors and internal customers to resolve safety, environmental and health issues
Requirements
Degree / Diploma in Environmental Engineering or other engineering discipline
Minimum of 2 years of experience in EHS Management and Facilities Systems
Registered Safety Officer with MOM
Experience in handling radioactive materials preferred
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple and complex tasks in a fast paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft business applications
