- Guide customers on effectively using their new instruments, ensuring they understand operational procedures and best practices. Provide ongoing support as they explore a variety of current and potential applications, helping them maximize the value of their investment.
- Liaise with colleagues and distributors to enhance their understanding of our instruments and their applications.
- Support pre-sales activities by performing customer sample analyses and providing detailed reports. Research to advance our applications and technology. Contribute to Perten’s presence at scientific conferences by preparing materials and delivering presentations. Apply your food science knowledge to collaborate with the R&D team developing innovative solutions that meet industry needs and standards.
- Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and repaired as needed.
- Ensuring the lab adheres to safety regulations, protocols, and industry standards.
- Keeping track of laboratory supplies and maintaining an adequate inventory.
- Maintain specifications for Perten reference materials.
- Efficiently plan, execute, and document analyses for research projects as well as for internal and external support.
Basic Qualifications
- B.Sc. or equivalent (food science background)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to critically analyze data (work with statistical tools to process data).
- Eager and capable of conducting research, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to implement Good Laboratory Practice protocols.
- Ability to deliver high-quality customer support and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
