Responsibilities
Location Limerick, IE Job ID REQ-052427We are looking for Lab Computing Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring compliance of Preventative Maintenance (PM) processes of laboratory IT software and supporting user account administration for our OneSource Customer based in Raheen, Ireland.
The software monitored includes systems running building automation, laboratory equipment and asset management.
Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Runs regular PM routines on supported IT software; reporting incidents in accordance to SOPs.
- Analyzes PM processes to identify potential enhancements, upgrades and/or solutions to improve the overall support of the desktop platform. Work with client Managers, IT and Engineering teams to implement these.
- Ensures adherence to client’s corporate policies through periodic reporting and compliance programs.
- Maintains inventories of client systems for audit trail purposes.
- Administers and assures connectivity of customer’s Windows based platform.
- Liaises with client IT teams in support of the operating system, desktop hardware and peripherals, instrument-controlled software, core desktop applications and imagining of computers.
- Implements Windows based security, including but not limited to: user / group permissions, file / folder permissions, group policies, local security policies, etc.
- Work with engineers to assist with instrument repairs and parts orders and liaison with the client; Escalating repairs to instrument related computers to the client infrastructure teams
- Update system validation documentation
- Trains all preventative maintenance personnel in their job duties when required.
- Responds on timely basis to all communications within and outside the organization.

- Excellent customer service skills complimented by an ability to listen to and interpret client requests.
- Analysis of data reports generated from the IT systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good administration skills with the ability to identify, track and complete tasks for multiple projects under prescribed timeframes.
- Eager to expand knowledge.
BasicQualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant industry experience.
- 2+ years of technical experience including (but not limited to); Windows technologies including Microsoft Office, networking, remote computing and backup systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An understanding of a laboratory environment eg clean rooms, regulations etc.
- Experience with scientific instrumentation.
- Experience in Life Science environment.
- Audit experience.
