Senior Finance Analyst - Finance Systems

Responsibilities
Location Kraków, PL Job ID REQ-052823Responsibilities:
- Oversee key finance systems, which includes SAP, Hyperion (HFM/Essbase) and Business Objects (SAP Datawarehouse)
- Own essential FP&A and accounting processes around system maintenance, intercompany activities and master data management
- Partner with the FP&A and Accounting teams on closing items by overseeing key system procedures
- Perform reconciliations between SAP, HFM (financial consolidation system) and data warehouse. Implement solutions for identified errors and propose enhancements to minimize manual workarounds.
- Partner with IT to enhance finance systems through developing, testing and implementing improvements.
- Enforce consistency, completeness, and accuracy in the recording of transactions globally through development of process standards, effective communication, and training programs with key business stakeholders.
- Become a subject matter expert in the Finance and Accounting community for all finance systems. Support end user troubleshooting for system issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business
- 4+ years of related business experience in Finance with a track record of graduated and scalable success
- Fluent in English (at least CEFR C1 level)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion (HFM/Essbase) and Business Objects in a multinational organization
- Robust financial system knowledge: able to link proposed operational processes to financial accounting/system requirements.
- Team player with a strong sense of personal responsibility and integrity.
- Strong ability to navigate through ambiguity, show initiative, and confidently manage tasks during times of change.
- Strategic thinker. Strong bias for action while considering potential outcomes from multiple angles. Always driving towards simplification and transparency.
- Demonstrated ability to assess priorities and manage/complete multiple complex activities in a time-sensitive environment.
- Strong proficiency with financial systems and applications; Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications
