Purpose
This role will provide administrative and operational support for the company’s European fleet program. Role will be responsible for ordering vehicles, actioning fleet support tasks, compliance monitoring, producing reports, distributing driver materials and trainings, and day to day tasks. Resource will provide a central resource to ensure consistent and efficient execution of fleet connected administrative and operational tasks. Role will ensure compliance with company policies across all drivers in assigned region.
Role will be a key member of a newly developed global fleet program and collaborate closely with the Global Fleet Category Leader. As requested, the role will provide support for the Global fleet program and other related Procurement tasks. Role will contribute to the overall success and competitiveness of our organization by driving operational excellence, fostering sustainable supply partnerships, and maximizing organization value.
Responsibilities
Oversee day to day operations of the company’s vehicle fleet.
Handle the acquisition and disposal of vehicles as needed, engaging preferred supply partners
Utilize fleet management tools for monitoring vehicle and driver metrics
Ensure driver compliance to company policies regarding vehicle use
Maintain accurate records for fleet vehicles, prepare reports on performance, cost and other key metrics for management.
Action accident and incident reports, including insurance claims and follow up topics
Ensure drivers are trained, licensed, and compliant with safety regulations
Track and manage expenses for fleet program
Serve as main point of contact between drivers, management, vendors, agreement signatories
Analyze fleet data to identify trend and opportunities for improvement
Enforce policies for vehicle use, fuel management, driver behavior, and compliance with policies
Schedule regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections of vehicles
Provide support for Procurement activities related to the Global Fleet management or other indirect categories as requested.
Basic Qualifications
3-5 years experience in a procurement related role
Experience supporting vehicle fleet activities or similar leasing programs.
Bachelors Degree
Experience working in SAP or a similar ERP system, skills with MS Office
Great communications and analytical skills
Preferred Characteristics
