Responsibilities
Location Kraków, PL Job ID REQ-052689PerkinElmer is seeking an Inside Sales Distributor Representative who will develop and maintain dealer/distributor relationships, drive growth of consumables business across both new and existing customer base, and provide pre- and post-sales support.
This is a hybrid working role with some time to be spent in the Krakow office each month.
What You will do
Manage a profitably grow consumable business with dealer/distributors to meet or exceed sales targets in assigned territory
Develop strategic distributor partnerships to manage performance, communicate product information, gather market intelligence, and expand portfolio through related and new items
Analyze accounts to identify opportunities to grow sales and propose to management
Manage margin, monitor inventory, and evaluate and score accounts
Identify opportunities for tiered discounts at volume commitments with strategic distributors
Identify and solicit incremental distributor accounts supporting management’s objectives
Generate leads for incremental service sales through distributor channels
Facilitate customer issue resolutions by troubleshooting and coordinating internally
Analyze and summarize competitor information to identify sales growth opportunities
Prepare a variety of reports tracking sales activities and sales prospects
Develop job knowledge by studying product portfolio and participating in trainings
Helps and supports the Inside Sales team of North Europe where needed.
Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues in product quoting, sales, and shipping
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar scientific field
Fluent in English
Previous sales or account management experience
Preferred Characteristics
Relevant experience in the analytical instruments & consumables industry
Relevant experience managing distributors/dealers/indirect sales
Relevant experience in field services
Strong ownership with ability to work with little or no supervision
Highly organized and able to coordinate information from and follow-up with diverse sources
