We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Travel & Expense Manager. As the Travel & Expense Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our company’s travel and expense management process. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for cost control.

Travel and Expense Responsibilities:

  • Monitor travel and expense activities, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and expense policies globally.
  • Analyze travel and expense data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation of global travel budgets and forecasts.
  • Enforce travel policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other teams to reconcile travel expenses and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Address employee escalated inquiries and assist in resolving expense-related issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on travel and expense policies and procedures.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding requirements for employees (credit card applications, onboarding documents, manage access and reporting needs)
  • Make data-driven recommendations to optimize T&E processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in travel and expense management, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong knowledge of travel industry practices, regulations, and trends.
  • Proficient in using account and travel management software, expense management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with vendors and employees at all levels.
  • Familiarity with financial principles and budget management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing travel regulations and technologies.
