Responsibilities
Location Hägersten, Stockholm CountySE Job ID REQ-052916The Account Manager will be responsible for achieving business targets, through sales development and field marketing programs, for the PerkinElmer Applied (Analytical) portfolio in Sweden.
The current well established customer base is a mix of large pharmaceutical clients, industrial companies and academia but there are many opportunities for expansion of market share.
Key responsibilities:
- Competes for all Applied (Analytical) sales opportunities throughout the territory.
- Builds and maintains strong customer relationships.
- Constantly attempts to secure business in new accounts and follows customer account receivables.
- Provides accurate monthly forecasting, updates and next steps within SFDC on a weekly basis as well as timely, accurate and competitive pricing to customers, and submit internal approvals.
- Attends seminars, exhibitions and demonstrations to promote business
- Maintains knowledge of PerkinElmer products, as well as knowledge of competitors’ products, prepares, documents and updates PerkinElmer presentation aids accordingly
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, preferably in Chemistry
- Strong experience within the analytical society with a solid network in accounts within environmental, food, chemistry, and material science.
- High integrity standards
- Experienced Sales star who is results driven, energetic, effective, a self-starter with a strong motivation for sales.
- Excellent in verbal and written communication and presentation skills and who is able to excel in an international sales environment
- Active agent for team motivation
- Independent, with good organizational and team working skills, driving you to continuously seek new opportunities
- Flexible, able to communicate with colleagues and customers, willingness to travel across Denmark and occasionally across Europe.
- Desire to learn, grow and take the lead in a sales role within a fast-paced matrix organization.
- Willingness to travel is essential (50%+)
