Summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Digital Marketing and Lead Development Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving demand generation, managing lead flow, and optimizing marketing campaigns across digital channels. This position requires extensive experience with HubSpot, lead management, and executing integrated marketing strategies that fuel growth. The role will focus on ensuring high-quality lead generation, nurturing, and seamless collaboration with the Lead Development Representative (LDR) team to drive sales pipeline growth. A proven track record of working with dynamic high-performing teams, optimizing processes, and driving significant growth in qualified leads, is required. This job will also require the ability to effectively leverage data analytics, CRM tools, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve business objectives.

Location: Must be able to be on site as a hybrid remote employee to either our Shelton, CT office or Woburn, MA facility.

KeyResponsibilities: 

Strategy Development and Execution

This role oversees two critical strategic initiatives. The first involves implementing global best practices for Lead Development Representatives (LDRs), establishing clear goals, KPIs, and analytic dashboards. A key focus is developing a strategic global plan for the LDRs, requiring close collaboration with commercial leaders to prioritize and coordinate LDR efforts worldwide, ensuring consistent processes and KPI alignment.

The second initiative is managing PerkinElmer’s marketing automation platform. This involves aligning the platform’s capabilities with broader business objectives to streamline operations, enhance customer engagement, and optimize ROI.

Team Leadership:

Lead, coach, and mentor the lead development team to achieve targets.Conduct regular team meetings to review performance and provide feedback.

Process Optimization:

Continuously assess and improve lead generation processes.

Implement tools and technologies to streamline lead development activities.

Collaboration:

Work closely with marketing, operations, and sales teams to align on lead qualification criteria.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handoffs and follow-ups.

Performance Monitoring:

Track and analyze key metrics to measure the effectiveness of lead generation efforts.Prepare and present reports on lead development activities and outcomes.

Market and Competitive Analysis:

Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.

Adjust strategies based on market insights and feedback.

Marketing Automation Platform and Lead Flow

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing automation strategy aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.

  • Maintain and optimize the marketing database to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Maintain and update customer databases with accurate and relevant information.

  • Utilize HubSpot to enhance contact insights and streamline processes, improving the efficiency of lead management and nurturing within the LDR team.

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Utilize analytics tools to track key metrics and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI.

  • Design, build, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and paid advertising.

  • Design, implement, and continuously refine a comprehensive lead scoring model incorporating insights from key stakeholders that accurately reflects various stages of lead qualification, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales criteria. This model will be regularly evaluated and optimized based on performance data and evolving business needs to improve lead prioritization and conversion.

  • Develop and implement strategic automation initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency across lead management processes. This includes optimizing lead tracking, improving reporting accuracy, and ensuring consistent management of contact properties. Additionally, establish automated workflows to streamline internal lead flow, ensuring timely routing, tracking, and follow-up to support both marketing and sales efforts. These initiatives will be continuously monitored and refined to align with evolving business goals and improve overall lead management performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Havea passion for digital technologies.

  • Knowledge and experience in the science or services market and/or analytical technologies is preferred.  

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of marketing or salesand 5+ years working with digital tools like MAPs or CRMs.Preferred HubSpot (certification) and SFDC experienceAnd understanding of ABM technologies.

  • Strong project management skills and an adaptive and flexible attitudeTo be successful, the candidate will need to flex with the needs of the business while ensuring that project objectives are completed along planned timelines.

  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful lead generating campaigns

  • Strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channels function

  • Solid knowledge of online sales/marketing tools and best practices

  • Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills

Travel Requirement:

  • Travel to support meetings, and events as necessary

  • Overall10%-20%

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $ 100,000 to $140,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
