Responsibilities
Location Ciudad de México, MX Job ID REQ-054529This position will act as a business developer for important customers inside key industries and must work with sales representatives, distributors and end users to get successful sales conversion, primarily focused, but not limited, on:
- Food specifically into bottling and breweries, with IR and UV solutions
- Industrial and Food with oil & lubricants analysis with TEA and FTIR solutions
- Chemicals and Pharma with FTIR, DSC and TGA
- Environmental solutions for Microplastics analysis, UV and Soil TGIR
Activities also includes presales activities, where one must assist in formulating technical product specification as per the customer's needs and accelerate technical sales procedure accordingly.
Also, one must design training material involved in the technical field training and assist in providing field training to the sales team.
Provides applications and technical sales support, optimization and solution quotation of IR. TEA and UV products to ensure the systems are performing according to specifications, and provides answers to customer inquiries concerning analyzers, workflow, technical adoption and process specifications.
Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products. Assists direct and indirect sales teams to assess potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions. May build a mini application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for end customer.
May provide software demonstration and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation. Ensures that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications. May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications. Provides both pre and post sales technical support; working with the customer from prior to the sale, through delivery and installation
