The Education & Enablement (E&E) team is looking for anenthusiastic, dedicated, and creative professionalwriter tocreate clear, compelling training assets that drive learner engagement and knowledge adoption.The E&E team istaking a new approachto providing our customers withthe appropriate learning experience for their specific moment of learning need.We are creating a collaborative culture of content solutions, enabling learning ahead of change, and optimizing the business impact of traditional training.This position is hybrid with a flexible work schedule (1-2 days expected to work from HQ in Waltham, MA).

Key responsibilities:

  • Focus on written product content. Organize content guidelines into a clear and understandable format.Ensure users are equipped with the resources needed to independently use our software.

  • Collaborate with E&Eteam members, subject matter experts, product stakeholders, and business teams to identify goals and outcomes forinnovative, actionablelearning solutions.

  • Provide writing and editing support for all areas of E&E, including training,multi-media content, community-led learning, and special initiatives.

  • Maintain and document evolving content,seteditorial standards, and drive adherence to writing best practices.


  • Can write from scratch, edit existing copy, and think beyond the written word with input from multiple team members.

  • Can effectively cope with change and comfortably switch tasks in response to business needs.

  • Create clear, compelling content that explains advanced ideas and technology in ways that are accessible to everyone.

  • An unrelenting commitmenttothe user experience.

  • An inexhaustible attention to detail.

  • Ownership of a beat-up copy of Strunk & White is a plus.

As a Training & Content Writer at PerkinElmer Informatics,you will use your gift for language to design intuitive, delightful learning experiences and helpcustomersengage with our products. Be a part of a team that values collaboration, iteration,and creative exploration.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 2+ years of experience creating a wide variety of content including training guides, instructional documents, and other learning materials necessary for knowledge transfer. 

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ Years working for a SaaS, science, or technology company 

  • A portfolio of written workthat shows attention to detail in every aspect and a strong capacity for both logical and creative thinking. 

  • Please be prepared to create a short sample of written content on a topic that will be provided during the interview process.
