Enterprise PDM Systems Analyst/Administrator

The Enterprise Product Data Management system serves as a central knowledge repository for process and product history and promotes integration and data exchange among all business users who interact with the products. The PDM Systems Analyst/Administrator has a key role in ensuring that the data in the system is valid and available for the various stakeholders in R&D, Operations and Commercial teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports PDM, brings up activities including system implementation, workflow, and change management, and the ability to develop associated procedures,
  • Researches, and evaluates new technologies with input and feedback from Leadership and members of the IT department,
  • Participates in the planning, design, documenting, implementing, and support of complex business systems,
  • Assists in Administration, testing, installation, and maintenance of infrastructure hardware, software, upgrades for servers,
  • Coordinates installation of hardware and software as required with support services,
  • Develops and provides support and training of users in system software, administration, and solution usage,
  • Prepares and maintains documentation of solution configuration and user training materials,
  • Assists in the administration of an IT user help desk to respond to the needs and questions of users concerning technical questions related to the PDM system,
  • Communicates and coordinates as directed with adequate advanced notice solution, maintenance schedule, data backups that may temporarily disrupt system services for users,
  • Maintains PDM data integrity,
  • Monitors and reports the performance of PDM systems,
  • Manages user and system accounts,
  • Supports cybersecurity and digital export controls as required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Primarily, the Enterprise PDM Systems Analyst/Administrator needs to be proficient in the analysis, implementation, and support of PDM systems,
  • Bachelor of Science degree,
  • 5+ years of experience on the similar position,
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in maintaining enterprise PDM systems,
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English & Finnish), with ability to work in a global environment,
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision,
  • Ability to write documents, reports, business correspondence, and procedures or processes
