Key Accountability:
· Responsible for all the transactional activities of the Direct tax such as handling Tax Audit,
Transfer pricing audit, Corporate Income tax return Filing, Master filing submissions and
monthly workings/Payments such as TDS, TCS, Quarterly Advance Tax etc.
· Preparation of Schedules and Supporting required for handling the Tax Audit (Form 3CD) and
compilation of Form 3CEB.
· Gathers tax information required for filing requirement of Master file in India under CbcR
reporting requirement.
· Responsible for all tasks associated with the maintenance of tax records.
· Responds to questions and requests on tax related information from internal
departments/vendors/customers.
· Coordinate with customers/credit collection and vendors for collection and issuance of TDS
certificates.
· Liaison with the internal and statutory auditor for queries raised.
· Involved in monthly closing of accounting of tax related activities.
· Preparing tax related reports for the global team.
· Ensuring all the changes in tax rules (if any) are updated in all the impacted systems.
· Conducts research on matters related to tax (from internal and external sources), understands
and analyses the impact of changes in tax laws (if any), and convey changes within the
organization accordingly
Supervise Indirect Tax function: § Responsible for overall Tax function on PAN India Level, Supervise the Indirect Tax portfolio, ensuring Timely payment of all Taxes pertaining to Direct and Indirect taxes. § Ensure timely filing of GSTR1, GSTR3B and reconciliation of Input credit. § preparation of various reports as desired by Parent company related to Taxes § Ensure proper accounting for all tax-related payments. § Evaluate and implement the changes in taxes as applicable.
Basic Qualifications:
- Finance Post-Graduate/ CA Inter
- 5+ years of experience.
- Worked in Direct and Indirect taxation for at least 3-5 years.
- SAP Knowledge/Other Financial Systems Knowledge
- Good knowledge of MS excel.
- Eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of foreign country tax laws
