Location Thane West, MaharashtraIN Job ID REQ-055113We are seeking an experienced and proactive professional to independently manage the entire logistics and warehouse operations for our growing business. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth domestic goods movement, service parts availability, and an excellent customer experience, while also maintaining compliance and cost-efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Domestic Logistics Operations
- Oversee and manage inbound and outbound transportation activities to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensure transport partners perform according to agreed service standards.
- Understand and comply with country-specific tax regulations and legal requirements related to logistics.
- Ensure accurate tax invoicing at the first attempt.
- Manage both forward and reverse logistics activities across the country.
- Handle marine insurance processes related to goods movement.
- Serve as the single point of contact for all logistics-related escalations.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and support logistics audits.
- Prepare and analyze reports and dashboards for operational and financial tracking.
Revenue and Customer Support Contribution
- Support movement of goods contributing to approximately 17 million USD in annual revenue through the processing of 6,000 customer invoices.
- Manage logistics support for more than 100 field engineers across the country, ensuring timely delivery of over 33,000 service components annually.
- Monitor service provider performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with tax and regulatory guidelines.
- Continuously improve customer and engineer fulfillment experiences.
Import and Export Coordination
- Support basic documentation for import and export activities in compliance with customs regulations.
Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee coordination with third-party warehouse operators.
- Support regular stock audits and maintain adherence to warehouse best practices.
Inventory Management
- Conduct periodic inventory reconciliation to align with company policies and standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong operational understanding of end-to-end logistics and warehousing in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing third-party providers and driving performance metrics.
- Familiar with domestic tax regulations and compliance requirements in logistics.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle high-volume, time-sensitive logistics tasks.
