Main Responsibilities: In conjunction with the Director - interpreting, developing and subsequently implementing the Go to Market sales strategy for the product portfolio. · Meet National sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. · Preparing business plans to support the sales strategy within the geographical region. · Achieve market penetration, revenue and profit levels for the region in line with agreed objectives · Develop strong relationships with both customers and the sales team · Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales · Analyze markets, competitors and trends central to the growth strategy for the business · Drive operational excellence within the sales team utilizing the leadership and organizational review process · Manage strategic changes in line with the organisations’ world class performance culture · Achieve National sales operational objectives by contributing National sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans · Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota · Maintain and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities. · Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors. · Implement trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending. · Accomplishes sales and organization vision by completing related results as needed. · Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers
