Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible to plan and execute service support in an effective and efficient manner, providing the highest levels of customer service support and the best possible financial performance.

  • Fulfil aftersales needs of customers in the assigned territory, maintain response time & uptime when providing services to customers.

  • Responsible for instruments installation and warranty service in the field and billable service.

  • Perform field service, maintenance and installation of instrumentation and the accessories.

  • Provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.

  • Handle returned / disposal of instrument and accessories according to procedures. Maintain service spares and PM kit.

  • Execute preventive maintenance calls as scheduled.

  • Align personal working practices with the department’s performance targets. Actively demonstrate compliance with all team targets.

  • Ensures that all tools and test equipment are adequate to perform service required, and that all test equipment issued is calibrated at the times specified.

  • Maintain service documentation / reports by ensuring the quality standards are maintained while servicing the equipment.

  • Maintain good communication at all relevant levels of customer organization.


  • Bachelor of Engineering/ Diploma in Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.

  • 3 years working experience in clinical instrumentation.

  • Experience in field Customer Service Environment.

  • Communication skill with internal customers, external customer, dealers and distributors

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, local or remote trouble-shooting skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple and complex tasks in a fast-paced environment
