Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer who is responsible for the existing system design and architecture, coding, verification/validation and support of embedded software in multi-disciplinary projects. This Candidate will play a key role in our product development process; designing/implementing/testing firmware for signal processing, electro-mechanical and motion control systems. In addition to assisting in the architectural design and development of highly complex scientific instrumentation and automation systems; working in a team-based project environment interacting with Hardware and Software Engineers and Application Scientists.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of Professional Engineering Experience

  • Design and develop Firmware Applications and Drivers

  • Demonstrated participation in Product Architecture, Design, Development and Deployment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred

  • Product involvement from inception through launch, interacting with early users, understanding customer needs, and driving solutions to meet or exceed expectations

  • Experience developing time estimates for project tasks and reports regularly on progress

  • Skilled at investigating and debugging complex system problems and drives engineering solutions to improve or correct product or process issues
