Job Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales Technical Support
    • Partner with the sales team in customer visits, technical discussions, and technical support for tenders and bids. Provide tailored technical solutions for both existing and prospective customers across industries including environmental, food, geoscience, materials, biopharmaceuticals, and new energy materials.
  • Post-Sales Application Support
    • Deliver end-to-end application and technical support, including software and method training, remote and on-site troubleshooting, and assistance with method development and optimization. Ensure stable instrument performance and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Marketing Support
    • Participate in industry exhibitions, technical seminars, and promotional events to deliver technical presentations and support product promotion. Collect and share market intelligence, competitive insights, and updates on industry standards and regulations with internal stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Sales, Field Service, Marketing, and Product teams to communicate customer technical challenges and product enhancement opportunities, contributing to the overall growth of the ICP-MS business.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Analytical Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Environmental Science, Food Testing, Geology, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ICP-MS applications, method development, or technical support. Candidates with experience as a Field Application Specialist/Engineer at an instrumentation manufacturer or as a lead ICP-MS analyst in a third-party testing laboratory are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ICP-MS theory and hands-on operation, with expertise in instrument tuning, parameter optimization, interference removal, collision/reaction cell technologies, and sample preparation for high-salt and complex matrices. Ability to independently develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills, with the ability to effectively engage customers and deliver technical seminars or training sessions.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region. Self-motivated, resilient under pressure, and committed to continuous learning and staying current with evolving industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across sales and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • CET-4 or above, with good English reading and writing skills. Ability to independently review and understand English instrument manuals, technical documentation, and scientific literature..
