Responsibilities
Location Seer Green, BuckinghamshireGB Job ID REQ-055715The regional Sales Leader UK&I and Nordics will be responsible for achieving business targets, through sales development and field marketing programs, for the PerkinElmer Perten (food) portfolio in the territory of Nordics and UK&I in the EMEA region. The regional Sales Leader UK&I and Nordics is managing a team of 1 Sales Specialist and 1 Field application Specialist based in Sweden, as well as distribution partners in UK, Ireland and Nordics (excl Norway and Sweden).
The current well established customer base is a mix of large global clients, industrial companies and academia but there are many opportunities for expansion of market share.
Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of 2 commercial specialists in the region of Nordics and UK&I.
- Manages distribution partners in UK, Ireland, Iceland, Denmark and Finland.
- Meets aligned quota and sales targets for the region.
- Actively takes responsibility of EMEA strategic projects and local Strategic accounts
- Provides accurate monthly forecasting, updates and next steps within SFDC on a weekly basis as well as timely, accurate and competitive pricing to customers, and submit internal approvals.
- Attends seminars, exhibitions and demonstrations to promote business.
- Maintains knowledge of PerkinElmer products, as well as knowledge of competitors’ products, prepares, documents and updates PerkinElmer presentation aids accordingly
The profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, preferably in Chemistry or Food Science.
- Strong experience within the analytical society with a solid network in accounts within environmental, food, chemistry, and material science.
- High integrity standards
- Experienced strategic sales manager who is results driven, energetic, effective, a self-starter with a strong motivation for sales.
- Strategic thinker and able to develop and execute strategic/long term plans.
- Excellent in verbal and written communication and presentation skills and who is able to excel in an international sales environment
- Ability to work with regional teams, leader and Sr Management, to coordinate efforts and information across the globe.
- Independent, with good organizational and team working skills, driving you to continuously seek new opportunities
- Flexible, able to communicate with colleagues and customers.
- Desire to learn, grow and take the lead in a sales role within a fast-paced matrix organization.
- Willingness to travel is essential (30%+)
- Current Driving license
