The Key Account Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for maximizing PerkinElmer’s sales revenue in collaboration with the regional sales managers as well as developing direct customer account relationships at the VP level and with key opinion leaders for large accounts.
Develop and grow account based business plans for PerkinElmer’s market share within our key clients.
Continue to develop strong relationships with large key accounts: build the an understanding of key influencers and focussing on build robust relationships.
Engage PerkinElmer leadership to foster and drive executive customer relationships and sales and provide feedback to leadership regarding strategy
Provide accurate forecasting, updates and next steps
Own the feedback cycle across the whole sales process and work with Legal to utilize basic terms for positioning
Create and conduct presentations to customers, inform customers of marketing programs, digital content and customer events. Develop direct marketing campaigns that are customer specific and create and update briefing documentation
Your profile :
Strategic Accounts expert who is results driven, energetic, effective, a self-starter with a strong motivation for sales and who is able to excel in an international sales environment
Strong experience within the Biotechnology, Chemistry or Life Science vertical with experience of software sales, ideally ELN.
Experience of selling Business Intelligence Tools is additionally beneficial.
Scientific background is advantageous
Technologically aware and up to date with strong knowledge of and focus on the customer, market and competitive technology
Ability to engage in business relationships with individuals, groups and all stakeholders and excellent team work skills to engage and coordinate with internal team members
Fluent English and German language skills desired
