Delivery Lead IT - SAP Procure to Pay

Key Responsibilities:

Changes, enhancements and projects

  • Engage with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, and Warehouse processes.
  • At least one end-to-end SAP MM/WM implementation experience is a must, with proven track record of working on projects, implementations, or enhancements in MM/WM areas.
  • Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW) and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams.
  • Configure and support SAP MM processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, goods receipt, stock transfers, and invoice verification & inventory management.
  • Configure and support SAP WM processes including warehouse structure setup, bin management, goods receipt/issue, picking, put-away, stock transfers, inventory counts, and handling unit/batch management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration, data migration, and interface design development with FI/CO, SD, and Supply Chain modules.
  • Prepare test scenarios, scripts, and support SIT/UAT cycles for MM and WM processes.
  • Drive system testing, defect management, and support data migration and cutover activities for go-live readiness.
  • Provide go-live support and hypercare, ensuring smooth transition of procurement and warehouse operations to SAP.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous service improvement, automation, and process optimization across MM and WM modules.
  • Ensure process standardization across plants and warehouses globally

Service Ownership & Operational Excellence

  • Accountable for stable, reliable, and secure operations across all enterprise applications, ensuring adherence to defined SLAs and KPIs.
  • Implement robust IT Service Management (ITSM) processes for incident management, change control, and problem resolution.
  • Drive proactive monitoring and continuous service improvements for critical enterprise applications.
  • Own and manage application lifecycle planning, including upgrades, patches, compliance audits, and end-of-life transitions.

Business Relationship Management

  • Collaborate with business leaders in Supply Chain, Procurement, Plant Operations, Logistics, and Distribution to define needs and deliver SAP solutions that optimize operations.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, solution workshops, and value discussions to ensure IT solutions are business-driven.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on inventory accuracy, warehouse digitization, and logistics process transformation.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with vendors across the enterprise applications landscape, ensuring strong performance, innovation contributions.
  • Establish a structured vendor governance framework, including regular performance review, resourcing needs and joint innovation initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technology advances, and best practices to continuously evolve the application portfolio.

  • Basic Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of SAP MM/WM experience, with deep expertise in SAP Inventory Management, WM, Handling unit management and logistics modules.
  • Hands-on configuration and support experience in MM (purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, goods receipt, stock transfers, invoice verification, inventory controls).
  • In-depth knowledge of WM processes including warehouse structure setup, bin management, put-away, picking, stock transfers, cycle counting, handling unit and batch management.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning delivery responsibility for end-to-end delivery of SAP MM and WM solutions, covering procurement, inventory management, and warehouse/logistics processes.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain processes, including P2P, inventory controls, warehouse operations, and logistics integration
  • Familiarity with integration platforms like PI/PO & Boomi to enable seamless cross-system data flow.
