The Data Analyst is responsible for providing strategic business analysis, merging complex datasets, driving the creation and communication of clear and insightful reporting in a dedicated Client facing role. This individual, in partnership with the Client, leads efforts in establishing standards for reliable data, optimizing business processes, and identifying drivers of the program’s financial performance.
The Data Analyst will play an important role serving as the central point of contact for all master data needs within the Laboratory Asset Management Program. This role is vital in understanding and documenting capabilities needed to address program challenges.
The Data Analyst will work in concert with other functional areas, including Service Delivery, Service Operations, Program Management, Finance, and the Customer Success Manager and collaborate with various members of both the Client and the broader OneSource organization.
JobResponsibilities:
Standardizing,preparingand delivering detailed reporting and analyticsregardingClient Laboratory Assetsand Services,bringing fiscalawarenessand ensuring the Client meets critical costand performancetargets
Drive the analysis, recommendations, and cost savings validation discussions with the client in alignment with agreed to customer cost savings goals
Support the compilation of Monthly and Quarterly Reporting per the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), in preparation for executive reviews
Analyze KPI and Asset level reporting to provide recommendations for improvement, highlighting opportunities and driving awareness of gaps as it relates to metrics, downtime, repair rates, and cost to service
Lead Root Cause Analysis efforts to mitigate asset failures and reduce program cost
Lead standardization of customer Asset list with respect to inconsistencies around nomenclature: Manufacturer – Model – Description, etc. as per the OneSource standardization tables
Support broaderOneSource innovation initiatives to improve lab optimization and reduce cost
Build a thorough understanding of the Client(s), their business, processes, and instrumentsin order tomeet their business goals
Demonstrate leadership acumen by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management,peersand others;identifyingandinitiatingprojects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results
Manage customer relationships and expectations byestablishinga communication process with the Program Manager.
Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key customer stakeholders
Meet all customer deadlines
Champion growth of the OneSource business, acting as an ambassador of PerkinElmer and the PerkinElmer portfolio of services

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Sciencewith 3 plus years of experience with Data Analytics, Project or Program Management or Operations Management or 6 years of experience with Data Analytics, Project or Program Management or Operations Management
Expertisein Microsoft Excel, Macros, PivotTablesand complex formulas
Experience with Data Visualization Software, preferably Spotfire
Preferred Experience:
Proficient in use of SAP or similar ERP systems
Knowledge of Asset Management Systems desired
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven operational ability to visualize,identifysteps and implement processes
Exhibits strong bias for action and a results orientation, tackling tough problems with firm deadlines, championing positive change
Ability to travel as business requires
Physical Demands:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
Specific vision abilities required by this position include without limitation, the ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the computer screen), distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus in order to perform the essential service functions of this position.
Occasionallyoperatesoffice machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $70,000 to $90,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
