Purpose of the role
To provide world class HR specialist and administration support to EUROIMMUN US employees. Be a part of a unique experience working closely with this business unit while closely connecting with the broader HR community and HR Centers of Excellence within PerkinElmer, the parent company of this recent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate employee records and advise the managers and supervisors of documentation needed in support of standard training procedures.
Assist with the job posting process as directed by the Diagnostics HR Department.
Provide general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence, processing confidential reports and documents, filing electronic and hard copy, tracking deadlines, and recording meeting minutes as needed.
Secure sensitive and confidential matters like personnel files, data changes, etc.
Routing various queries from managers and employees and from other agencies or departments.
Coordinate volunteer and staff training events or programs and recommend resources as needed.
Coordinate current issues and matters in the organization related to HR department.
Create and maintain employee file records up-to-date by handling changes in employee status/pay in timely manner.
Help in maintenance of employee directory and company organization charts.
Interact with and supply information to employees, department heads, and job applicants.
Additional projects as needed per the local site
Basic Qualification:
1-2 years previous Human Resource experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualification:
Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Management a plus.
Ability to produce accurate and well-presented reports.
Able to present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets.
Should have effective written and verbal skills.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.
Able to maintain confidential information.
Demonstrated ability to improve employee morale
Comprehensive understanding of local, state and federal employment laws
Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in MS word, Excel and PowerPoint
Workday experience a huge plus
