Summary

The Facilities and Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering projects on time and to the specified quality standards. This position is responsible for ensuring a seamless transition to business as usual (BAU) operations and coordinating efforts between various stakeholders, including facilities management (FM) and vendors, to facilitate lab readiness and adaptations.

This is site based at our client site, Astra Zeneca Mölndal.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all necessary elements are in place for a smooth BAU handover.

  • Deliver projects according to the agreed timeline and quality.

  • Serve as a key contact point between the project team and stakeholders such as FM and vendors.

  • Coordinate and oversee facilities repairs and necessary adjustments.

  • Manage and track all vendor interactions to ensure service quality and timeliness.

  • Ensure lab readiness and manage necessary adaptations to facilities.

  • Coordinate installations with vendors effectively.

  • Organize stakeholder participation in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs).

  • Ensure the closure of findings from FATs and SATs.

  • Facilitate user and technical training (for PerkinElmer’s onsite engineers) to ensure comprehensive understanding of new systems and equipment.

  • Handle and track all shipments, from order placement to installation receipt, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

  • Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management or coordination, preferably within facilities or lab environments.

  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with lab environments and understanding of facility management.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Additional Information 

  • This is a project management role, not a research position; scientific literacy is advantageous. 

  • Roles based at our client site in Gothenburg require a drug test and background screening. 

  • All roles at PerkinElmer Sweden include a standard 6‑month probationary period.
