Location Mölndal, SE Job ID REQ-056792Join a high-impact, customer-facing operation at the heart of scientific progress. We’re seeking a Maintenance Manager for our GMP Manufacturing Equipment team to lead our onsite maintenance organization at AstraZeneca’s site in Mölndal.
Reporting to the Site Operations Manager and sitting on the site leadership team, you’ll steer daily operations, develop people and processes, and shape how we deliver maintenance to a complex, regulated environment.

What you’ll do
- Operational leadership: Manage day-to-day OneSource maintenance operations to meet commitments; plan resources and long-range activities across the account scope.
- People development: Hire, coach, recognize, and manage performance your team; set goals, run reviews, and maintain training plans/records.
- Maintenance service excellence: Build strong customer relationships, contribute maintenance expertise in tactical and strategic forums, and ensure procedures meet client and authority requirements.
- Continuous improvement: Lead Lean and TPM driven process enhancements within your remit; identify and implement best practices across a broad range of manufacturing equipment.
- Quality & compliance: Support audits, manage quality program implementation, integrate new/expanded services into contracts and quality manuals, and uphold health, safety, security, environmental, and operational standards.
- Leadership presence: Drive team culture and expectations, connect with broader Communities of Practice, and deputize for the Site Operations Manager when required.
What you bring
Critical skills:
- Solution-oriented with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Ownership and initiative, with a track record of completing complex tasks
- Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance experience and a continuous improvement mindset
- Leadership & team building, organizational strength, and project planning with a participatory style
- Excellent communication & presentation, with MS Office proficiency
- Language: Very good Swedish and English, spoken and written
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry or equivalent in practical experience and trainings
- 5+ years’ practical experience
- Demonstrated leadership with direct personnel responsibility and the ability to lead through others
- Experience leading and developing maintenance in a regulated environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven ability to set direction and drive change
- Experience in Pharma, Biotech, or Medical Device manufacturing
- 5+ years as a people manager in regulated environments (e.g. GMP, cGMP)
