Responsibilities
Location Milan, MilanoIT Job ID REQ-055434The Sr. Service Sales Specialist is responsible for developing the Analytical service business in Central- Italy (Lazio, Abruzzo, Marche, Tuscany and Sardinia) and supporting the Service Sales Manager team. She/He is responsible for the sales of warranty extensions, service contracts, the extension of existing service contracts, the development of the entire core service portfolio (trainings/software upgrades etc)
This is achieved by working with Customer Care, Inside Sales Team and Service Delivery Team, which includes all activities that contribute to the acquisition, satisfaction and retention of service customers and the efficient and effective utilization of service processes.
In addition, this position is responsible for building and maintaining customer / channel relationships and providing pre- and post-sales consultation to customers aimed at increasing PerkinElmer's market share, revenue and profitability in line with strategic business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Developing market share for core services, securing existing customers and re-acquiring former customers.
- Maintaining business reports and prospect lists in existing systems
- Preparation of quotations
- Active involvement in lead generation
- Interface with service leadership and cross-functional teams as needed to resolve customer issues.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or higher.
- Proven sales skills
- Good knowledge of common IT tools (MS-Office, SAP and Service Max a Plus)
- Native language in Italian, good English knowledges in oral and written forms are mandatory
