Responsibilities
Location Milan, MilanoIT Job ID REQ-055580We are looking for a Field Application Specialist (FAS) with a strong background in inorganic analytical techniques, particularly Atomic Absorption (AA), Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), and Mass Spectrometry (ICPMS). The FAS will play a key technical role supporting both the sales team and customers, providing expert guidance, training, and application development in the pre- and post-sales phases.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on instrument demonstrations for AA, ICP, and MAS systems at the CKC demo laboratory in Milan and occasionally at customer sites.
- Support Sales Representatives during customer visits, offering deep technical expertise throughout the sales and evaluation process.
- Contribute to the definition of technical specifications in commercial offers, ensuring the proposed solutions meet customer requirements.
- Prepare application data and documentation to support participation in public tenders and procurement bids.
- Contribute to customer-facing events, including webinars, seminars, workshops, and product presentations.
- Develop Application Notes and relevant technical materials related to inorganic analysis workflows.
- Deliver post-sales training and technical support to customers (including customers' site) , ensuring correct and efficient use of instruments and methods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Hands-on experience with AA, ICP-OES/MS, and/or microwave digestion systems is required.
- Previous experience in a technical support, application, or analytical laboratory role is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to engage with customers.
- High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- English language (spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel across Italy and sometimes in Europe
- Current Driving licence
