Location: EMEA
The EMEA Quality Environmental Health & Safety Manager develops, implements and maintains a central QMS based on ISO14001 for the PerkinElmer EMEA Sales and Service Organization. This role ensures the environmental QMS complies with customer expectations, regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
The EMEA QEHS Manager supports the transition of the currently country based ISO9001 Quality Management Systems to a central and integrated QMS for ISO 9001 & ISO14001.
Responsibilities:
• Develops EMEA Quality Management System based on ISO14001 for Sales & Service.
• Leads the implementation and certification projects for the different EMEA sites
• Will support the creation and maintenance of an integrated EMEA QMS based on ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 (multi site certification)
• Supports country legal H&S representatives on fulfilment of specific legal requirements due to EU Directive 89/391/CEE by providing training and documentation, performing risk assessments and audits (regulatory, safety, sustainability, radioactivity,…), supporting permit and waste management.
• Develops, maintains and coordinates the EHS internal audit program
• Participates in management and process reviews as well as internal and supplier audits
Your profile:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in science or engineering or quality fields
• Minimum of 7+ years experience in an EHS role are required, experience in a service organization or laboratory environment is considered a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of the following quality standards: ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
• Experienced in implementing and certifying management systems at multi sites
• Certified (internal) auditor ISO 14001 (& ISO 9001) in international settings
• Good communication skills & leadership, able to engage internal stakeholders in QMS ownership, turns resistance to change into opportunities, sensitive to working in a multinational environment.
• Fluency in English, French is considered a plus
• This role requires travel across EMEA +/- 20%
