The company maintains offices in Boston and Paris as well as long-term agents in Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai and Tel Aviv. We are looking for a Munich based Business Development & Licensing Manager (m/f/d) You will join our Business Development & Licensing team. Such team ensures that the company's growing technology portfolio in cell and gene therapy is increasingly being applied in clinical developments and that these partnerships are contractually secured. Furthermore, it promotes own technology partnerships in the preclinical environment, always with a view to potential clinical applications. Contractual partners are international academic institutions and industrial partners, both of which serve the company as collaboration and licensing partners. Your tasks • Further development of the technology and licensing portfolio in the field of cell and gene therapies • Assisting in the preparation of term sheets and licensing and collaboration agreements • Development of new concepts to open up new licensing technologies and markets • Establishing and maintaining business relationships with licensees and partners Requirements • Degree in natural sciences (preferably molecular biology), desirable three to five years of professional experience in business development, preferably in the bio-tech industry • Knowledge of contractual arrangements in the area of collaboration and licensing agreements would be an advantage • Technical knowledge in the field of cell and gene therapies, ideally AAV, is desirable. • Good MS-Office skills, as well as business fluent written and oral English We offer • A well-established, fast-growing biotech company with excellent career development opportunities with an international focus • A dynamic, innovative and cooperative working environment • A permanent employment contract with a salary commensurate with Munich and the international environment.
