Changes, enhancements and projects
- Engage with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Plan-to-Produce (PP/QM, Manufacturing) processes.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW) and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams, ensuring technical designs are robust and aligned with SAP best business practices.
- Configure and support SAP PP/QM processes including production planning, shop floor execution, quality inspections, and manufacturing reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration, data migration, and interface design/development with MES and other plant applications.
- Prepare test scenarios, scripts, and support SIT/UAT cycles.
- Drive system testing, defect management, and support data migration & cutover activities.
- Provide go-live support and hypercare, ensuring smooth transition to business operations.
- Lead continuous service improvement initiatives for PP/QM modules and integrations.
Business Relationship Management
- Act as IT partner for Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Plant Maintenance stakeholders to ensure SAP ECC solutions align with business priorities and site needs.
- Engage regularly with plant leads and functional managers to capture evolving requirements around production planning, maintenance schedules, quality control, and material flows.
- Support strategic initiatives such as traceability, master data standardization, and manufacturing visibility by leveraging ECC, MDM, and connected systems.
- Ensure SAP supports critical shop floor processes such as BOM management, work order execution, downtime tracking, and maintenance planning.
Innovation, Automation & Transformation
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and data transparency through better utilization of SAP ECC capabilities and automation via connected platforms.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives in areas like preventive maintenance, inline quality checks, and integration of ServiceMax for equipment lifecycle management.
- Lead Boomi-based integrations between SAP ECC, MDM, Salesforce, and external systems, ensuring seamless flow of production, asset, and material master data.
- Support adoption of standardized global manufacturing templates and KPIs across regions to ensure consistent reporting and performance management.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with vendors and support partners responsible for SAP ECC, plant-level systems, and Boomi integrations, ensuring SLA compliance and delivery excellence.
- Work with external teams through structured engagement models, project tracking, performance reviews, and escalation handling.
- Stay informed on SAP ECC roadmap, integration patterns, and domain-specific best practices to continuously evolve the manufacturing IT footprint.
- Basic Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in SAP ECC with a strong focus on manufacturing-related modules (PP, PM, QM); experience in a lead delivery or application ownership role.
- At least one end-to-end SAP PP/QM implementation experience is a must, with proven track record of working on projects, implementations, or enhancements in PP/QM areas.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing and production functions, including production planning, shop floor execution, batch management, quality inspections, lot traceability, and material flow.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PP/QM innovations such as advanced planning, quality notifications, batch management enhancements, and Fiori apps is preferred.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes including production execution, shop floor control, quality inspections, and plant maintenance cycles.
- Exposure to MES systems and knowledge of manufacturing data flow between SAP and external production systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and engage directly with global business stakeholders.

- Capable of balancing day-to-day operational needs with long-term system and process enhancements.
