Enhancements, projects, maintenance & data governance
- Deliver end-to-end SAP MDM solutions within ECC & roadmap to S/4HANA, covering master data creation, maintenance, data governance, and quality management.
- Maintain master data across multiple SAP modules, including SD, MM, FICO, PP, QM, WM, and PPM, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Extended experience in SAP table structures, field level / mapping knowledge, customizations within material, BOM ,router objects & integration with connected platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceMax, and SAP MDM via Boomi.
- Perform master data ETL activities for large ERP implementations and global rollouts, ensuring data integrity and seamless cross-module integration.
- Provide hands-on support for production issues, data corrections, and cross-module impacts, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, process standardization, and adoption of best practices in SAP MDM.
Business Relationship Management
- Act as an IT partner for Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Plant Maintenance stakeholders, ensuring SAP MDM solutions within ECC align with business priorities and site requirements.
- Engage regularly with business process owners and functional managers to capture evolving requirements for master data across production planning, maintenance, quality, materials, and other operational domains.
- Ensure accurate and consistent master data supports critical business processes, including BOM management, work order execution, maintenance planning, material flows, and quality control.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on SAP MDM, advising stakeholders on best practices, governance standards, and process improvements.
Innovation, Automation & Transformation
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization in master data creation, maintenance, validation, and governance across SAP ECC modules.
- Standardize and harmonize master data processes across business units and geographies to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Enable seamless integration with connected systems (e.g., MES, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain) via middleware such as Boomi.
- Champion reporting, dashboards, and analytics to monitor data quality, process efficiency, and compliance, supporting informed decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying best practices and innovative tools to enhance the reliability, scalability, and future-readiness of SAP MDM solutions.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Collaborate with vendors, implementation partners, and internal IT teams to deliver SAP MDM solutions, covering master data creation, maintenance, and governance.
- Coordinate with external teams through SLAs, project governance, regular reviews, and issue escalation processes, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Ensure partners comply with IT standards, security, and global MDM governance practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, SAP MDM roadmap (including S/4HANA migration), and best practices to maintain scalable and future-ready master data solutions.
- Basic Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of data, business and/or systems analyst experience to include translating between business and technical requirements.
- 5+ years of Consulting/Development experience in SAP (modules like MM /SD/FICO)
- Experience managing master data ETL for ERP large implementations.
- Experience with tool STORM (SAP add-on for master data maintenance) will be added advantage.
- Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
