Responsibilities
Location Kraków, PL Job ID REQ-056247This role requires a Procurement Specialist who will also provide support for Purchasing processes during contract renewal period, shifting their focus throughout the year.
Role description
Reviews, analyzes and processes incoming purchase requisitions
Coordinates purchasing activities in a cost effective and timely manner
Requests quotes from suppliers for purchase of specific services
Responsible for purchasing and procurement data input and integrity
Performs cost analysis and volume planning for external services
Monitors the cost and scope of suppliers to negotiate highest quality at best value
Develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive
May recommend cost saving proposals including alternative sourcing
Sources suppliers and supplier qualification,
Sources, negotiates, and procures service contracts in support of our OneSource Enterprise contracts and asset management portfolio.
Identifies appropriate service coverage for different customers or types of equipment and opportunities to expand our service platform strategy.
Conducts routine supplier meetings to develop and maintain supplier relationship.
Interacts closely with suppliers and Quality to resolve quality issues.
Uses data to drive decisions and provide market/competitive feedback while supporting the field organization and providing visibility and accessibility to supplier metrics, tools and processes.
Requirements
3+ years of procurement experience.
Must have a proven record of strong negotiation skills and buying strategies culminating in positive financial results.
Thorough knowledge of developing, deploying and awarding service contracts (RFP).
Deep understanding of vendor/supplier communications and best practices.
Proven ability to ensure cost effective services arrangements.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Excellent motivational, communication (oral/written), presentation and influencing skills.
Must possess confidence and assertiveness
Excellent critical thinking/ analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong execution and follow through.
Fluent English.
German language knowledge will be a plus.
