Job Responsibilities:

• Lead team of Strategic Sourcing Specialists

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for instrument services and aftermarket parts to optimize cost savings, quality and supplier performance

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish partnerships

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers

• Develop supplier management program and monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement improvements to enhance quality, service delivery, and cost-effectiveness

• Analyze pricing and cost structures to identify value opportunities for PerkinElmer and its customers

• Implement value driving initiatives and track value achieved through sourcing activities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers

• Ensure contracts are compliant with legal and organizational requirements

• Monitor contract compliance throughout the supplier relationship

Qualifications & Experience:

• Equivalent of 8+ years of combined sourcing, strategy development, or data analytics / insights experience

• Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends and develop action plan based on findings

• Deep understanding of vendor/supplier communications and best practices.

• Thorough knowledge of developing, deploying and awarding service contracts (RFP)

• Strong negotiation skills and buying strategies culminating in positive financial results

• Experience in similar or related industry
