Location Kraków, PL Job ID REQ-055096Job Purpose:
The Credit & Collections Team Leader, NAM is responsible for processing receivables, codes invoices, and responds to customer payment inquiries. Collection activities include investigating delinquent accounts and writing collection letters. The Team Lead analyzes account performance, makes recommendations to release orders on past due accounts and investigates bankruptcy claims. Maintains records and files and generates related reports. Additionally, they may coordinate efforts and/or refer accounts to third party action when internal collections are not effective.
Responsibilities
Leading the team of 6-8 credit and collections analysts
Collection of receivables for customers from Americas
Implementation of credit policies and procedures,
Collection cycle and Past Due Receivables improvement,
Performing credit assessment and setting credit lines per Customer,
Support Bad Debt Reserve and Write Off processes,
Assisting in preparation of regular management reports e.g. Collection Reports, A/R Ageing, etc.
Processing of invoice clearings against payments/credit notes,
Fiscal invoices creation for Mexico
Taking part in projects aimed at AR process improvements
Provide daily supervision and coaching to the Credit Collections team
Ensure that all duties listed here above are fulfilled by the AR team
Ensure an effective goal setting / performance review /development process is in place
Ensure that all processes are performed according to SOX requirements
Continued focus on improving system efficiencies
Lead by example
Basic Qualifications
Very good level of English - at least CEFR B2 level,
3+ years of experience across Accounts Receivable processes, preferably 1-2 years of leadership experience in Accounts Receivable / Credit Collections or other finance departments,
Working knowledge of SAP experience or other ERP will be an asset,
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Should have excellent analytical skills,
Process-driven and organized, with sufficient flexibility to accommodate ad hoc requests,
Experience with a Shared Service model.
