Responsibilities
Location Kraków, PL Job ID REQ-055790We are looking for a Cash Application Specialist who will be responsible for processing incoming payments, allocate properly the funds to the correct customer, identify the reasons behind an under or over payment. Cash allocation specialist involves managing and distributing financial resources efficiently to meet the company’s daily needs and strategic priorities. It requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of cash flow to ensure stability and effective resource use.
Hybrid working model (3 days office / 2 days home)
Responsibilities
Daily collection of bank statements and their archiving.
Daily posting of incoming payments. Conducting verification with AR and AP teams if needed.
Settlement of customer accounts.
Accurately allocating incoming payments to the correct customer accounts and invoices.
Monitoring daily cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational stability.
Resolving discrepancies in payments, such as underpayments or overpayments.
Communicating with internal teams regarding payment-related queries.
Generating reports on cash flow and payment trends for management review.
Supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records.
Handling write-off requests.
Covering the NAM market (during day shift).
Qualifications and Skills:
Preferably 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Accounting or other finance departments,
Fluent in English - at least CERF B2 level,
Working knowledge of SAP experience or other ERP will be an asset
Financial background would be an advantage
Process driven and well-organized, with sufficient flexibility to accommodate ad hoc requests
Attention to details and accuracy
Good written and verbal communication skills
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Open-minded team player with a positive attitude,
Additional language will be an asset
