Credit Collections Specialist with Turkish

Role description:

  • Collection of receivables for Turkish & South African customers,
  • Implementation of credit policies and procedures,
  • Performing internal controls in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
  • Collection cycle and reduce Past Due Receivables improvement,
  • Performing credit assessment and setting credit lines per Customer,
  • Support Bad Debt Reserve and Write Off processes,
  • Preparing regular management reports e.g. Scorecard, Collection Reports.
  • Liaison with Treasury Department to gather information of remittances with insufficient data.

Role requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Credit Collection
  • Financial background would be highly desirable
  • Must be professional and ethical with high integrity
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Process driven and organised, with sufficient flexibility to accommodate ad hoc requests
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP experience or other ERP
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in Turkish and English - at least CEFR B2 level
