Credit and Collection Specialist (German speaker)

The Credit Collection Specialist is responsible for the timely cash collection, investigation and reviewing credit risks involving customers and suppliers.

Role description:

  • collection of receivables from EMEA customers,
  • implementation of the European credit policies and procedures, 
  • collection cycle and reduce Past Due Receivables improvement,
  • performing credit assessment and setting credit lines per Customer,
  • support Bad Debt Reserve and Write Off processes,
  • preparing regular management reports e.g. Scorecard, Collection Reports, A/R Ageing,
  • processing of all the clearing of all invoices with payments or credit notes,
  • liaison with Treasury Department to gather information of remittances with insufficient data.

Role requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Credit Collection/AR
  • Financial background would be highly desirable
  • Must be professional and ethical with high integrity
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Process driven and organised, with sufficient flexibility to accommodate ad hoc requests
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP experience or other ERP
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English - at least CEFR B2 level
  • Fluent in German - at least CEFR C1 level
