Location Kraainem, BE Job ID REQ-056184The EMEA Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient, timely, and cost-effective movement of products across the EMEA region. This position supports daily logistics execution, provides analytical insights, and collaborates with internal teams and external third-party logistics providers (3PLs). The role is central to maintaining operational excellence, ensuring compliance, and achieving logistics performance goals and KPIs.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in international logistics, including expertise in SAP, export/import documentation, Incoterms, and 3PL management. Proficiency in logistics analytics and report creation is essential.
Key responsibilities:
Logistics Operations Management
Oversee and support daily logistics activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of shipping and distribution tasks.
Support business fluctuations effectively to maintain smooth workflows and operational stability.
Performance & Exceptions Management
Monitor shipment progress and logistics KPIs to ensure on-time delivery and service quality.
Investigate and resolve transportation and warehousing issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Escalate potential issues proactively to minimize operational disruptions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with key internal stakeholders (Customer Care, Planning, Service, Procurement, and Order-to-Remittance teams) and external logistics partners to optimize end-to-end processes.
Represent the distribution function in cross-department initiatives and contribute to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Data, Reporting & Analytics
Develop and maintain logistics dashboards and KPI reports in Power BI to provide visibility and support data-driven decision-making.
Deliver analytical insights to identify trends, optimize logistics performance, and support continuous improvement projects.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Ensure adherence to budget, company policies, internal rules, and standard operating procedures.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
Participate in and lead logistics-related projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in international logistics and distribution, preferably within a regional EMEA context.
Strong knowledge of SAP, export/import procedures, and Incoterms.
Experience managing 3PLs and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Systems Expertise: Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI for data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex logistics data, identify issues, and implement effective solutions under tight deadlines.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse, cross-functional, and multicultural teams.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; additional European language skills are an asset.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, International Trade, or a related field preferred.
Adaptability: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
