Participates in the design and development of electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
Able to accurately translate stated internal and external (customer) requirements into a concept and, ultimately, a detailed design using industry-standard tools.
Tests, troubleshoots and provides solutions to technical problems with preventative measures.
Manage changes through engineering and procurement to ensure that program goals are met.
Regular reviews with peers and stakeholders to ensure that the scope and direction of the tasked project is on schedule.
Maintenance tasks and errands, and other duties as needed
Follow all Omni processes and procedures
Must be an student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
Motivated self-starter and pro-actively identifies areas of need and improvement.
Collaborative and team-based approaches to problem-solving.
Proficient at reading and interpreting technical documentation.
Strong decision-making skills, situational awareness, performance under pressure.
Good interpersonal skills with an emphasis on strong internal customer support.
Hands-on prototyping and testing.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Positive attitude with an ability to work well independently as well as a team
Strong problem-solving skills
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting, standing, and bending
Lifting and/or moving of up to 50 lbs.
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
