PerkinElmer is actively looking for an Associate Manager, Lead Development Team to serve as a hands-on leader for the growing lead development team.  By collaborating with marketing and sales, you will manage the process and workloads to ensure all qualified leads are being funneled correctly to Lead Development Representatives (LDR’s) and opportunities are efficiently being created and effectively handed-off to sales. This is a player-coach role and is expected to excel at relationship building, inspiring confidence and enthusiasm, providing guidance, and motivating the team by creating a culture and environment that is synonymous with a great place to work.

Core Areas of Responsibility

Associate Manager, Lead Development Team is responsible for managing day to day activities of an internal team of 6-8 LDR’s including reviewing lead dispositions for appropriateness and subsequent provision of live coaching and mentoring, managing lead volume across queues to load balance and optimize throughput,  , generating statistics and monitoring: call and email volumes to ensure LDR productivity, conversion rate to opportunity, timely hand-off to sales, sales acceptance and close rates for LDR’s with the aim to increase productivity, pipeline creation and revenue generation.

  • Monitor and continuously improve metrics for SLAs, lead conversion rates, and sales cycle optimization
  • Work closely with sales to ensure proper alignment on opportunity quality and follow-up on hand off
  • Confident with strong interpersonal skills and a true team player with the highest level of integrity
  • Ensure the team tracks information accurately in Salesforce
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvements around process, efficiency and productivity of the lead development team
  • Define processes that enable the team to scale and onboard new Lead Development Reps quickly and effectively

Required Knowledge, Skills & Characteristics

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years experience
  • Working knowledge of a CRM tool, preferably Salesforce
  • Experience on leading and motivating a team
  • A fundamental understanding of the sales process from a marketing lens, from campaigns through prospecting, and sales hand-off
  • Dependability and a responsible self-starter mentality, and an ability to work independently
  • Excellent organization with extremely strong attention to detail
  • Engage, coach, mentor, and interact with the team to provide feedback and direction on a daily basis
  • Experience partnering with sales to align and develop effective collaboration and relationships
  • Team oriented with ability to thrive and add to a competitive, energy filled environment
  • Persistence and willingness to learn and adapt on a daily basis
  • This position will require 0-5% travel
