PerkinElmer’s in vivo imaging group does incredibly important work supporting research across disease models for cancer & cardiopulmonary, metabolic, and infectious disease.The R&D team is an interdisciplinary group that develops market leading products, instrumentation, software, and reagents that drive innovation.The technology is amazing – 2D & 3D reconstruction and visualization of luminescence, fluorescence, x-ray & ultrasound.The labs are located in Hopkinton MA at the junction of 90 & 495.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and delivery of a new generation of in vivo imaging instrument software
- C# coding of multiple aspects of application development – services, components, algorithm implementation and optimization
- Unit Test Creation
- Use source control and issue tracking systems such as GitHub, Azure Dev Ops, Jira
- Develop and maintain DevOps-related tooling and scripts for build, test, deploy, release
- Follow the Software Development Life Cycle from design through implementation
- Work as a strong independent contributor within a team in an Agile Development Process
- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or Physical science
- 2+ years’ experience producing professional software or Windows system administration and DevOps tooling.
- 1+ years’ experience in an object-oriented language such as C#
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Windows system administration
- Experience with build release / DevOps tooling such as Jenkins
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
- Experience with image processing toolkits
- Experience in either C++ or Matlab
- Experience with WPF
- Experience with instrument control software or scientific computing
- Experience programming for reactive systems
- Experience with WPF
