Responsibilities

  • To support current workload on Q4 acute shortages & ensure Q1 material supply is secured.
  • To start with administrative tasks: SAP tasks/update (PIR/SL update, DR for NPI, QIR review), excel tracking/price comparison, send RFQ/drawings download,, etc
  • To support open market sourcing for COTS parts to connect supply
  • To possibly extend into some less challenging suppliers’ management (bulk part replenishment, etc)
  • Work closely with Production Planner on-demand requirement
  • Release purchase orders per system generated purchase requisitions and ensure all purchase orders are delivered on time.
  • Proactively monitor material delivery according to SIOP plan to ensure no material shortage impact to production.
  • Attend daily production meetings to communicate material issues and advise action items.
  • Perform weekly inventory monitoring to ensure all raw material inventory targets are achieved.
  • Supplier performance tracking and management.
  • Review E&O and manage LTB activities to minimize obsolescence risk.
  • Streamline processes and drive continuous improvement in performance and customer/employee satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; candidates with diplomas and significant relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in purchasing or supply chain roles, preferably within a fast-paced multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in business analysis and experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Sound knowledge of the full order fulfillment cycle and inventory management principles.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Aanalytical capabilities to interpret data, assess supplier performance, and make informed decisions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Ability to identify challenges within the procurement process quickly and develop innovative solutions.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment characterized by changing priorities and high-pressure situations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in managing procurement processes and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently when required
