Responsibilities:

  • Input data into SAP for Material planning MRP base on historical consumption trend
  • Based on the customer order, ensure all Sales orders can be fulfilled by releasing work order to production for service build
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling of part delivery to meet A-B fill rate.
  • Work closely with Purchasing Specialists on material delivery status and ensure minimum material shortage impact to production.
  • Working closely with production for capacity planning for assembly lines.
  • Attend daily production meeting to communicate with production on urgent service requirement and material issues and advise action items
  • Attend monthly SiOP meeting to communicate with sale / commercial / SiOP leader on demand and supply status.
  • Monitor production progress vs plan and take corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence
  • Perform timely material back-flash to minimize production variance
  • Perform weekly inventory monitoring to ensure all inventory targets are achieved
  • Track and report key planning KPIs including on-time delivery, plan adherence, inventory levels, and WIP
  • Coordinate production out and ensure timely completion of work order to meet customer requirement.
  • Utilize Six Sigma techniques to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement in performance and customer/employee satisfaction
  • Lead in special projects and key initiatives identified from time to time
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning accuracy, inventory turnover, and delivery performance
  • Supervise a team of Senior/Production Planners in their daily activities and leading the team in achieving all the goals and metrics

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder with specialization in Supply Chain, Logistics or related discipline
  • Work Experience: 7 years of hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced MNC manufacturing environment
  • Experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP Good working knowledge in SAP system

Preferred Characteristics:

  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office applications
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong bias for action and results oriented. Ability to prioritize and work independently and proactively is critical for success
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple and complex tasks in a fast paced and
  • challenging environment.

  • Demonstrates diplomacy, confidentiality and professionalism
