The PerkinElmer Informatics Customer Success team is dedicated to helping our customers successfully adopt our products.  Our mission is to be a trusted partner to our customer. We're expanding our Customer Success team to include an experienced technical advisor with strong business acumen, good judgement, and a can-do attitude.  

Who are you?

We are looking for an “A-team” player that has:

  • significant experience in Life Sciences 

  • experience with the technical deployment of enterprise software solutions

  • a commitment to collaborating with customers on solutions that bring them success and “win-win” negotiations

What You Will Do:

  • Bring the 'Voice of the Customer' into decision-making

  • Act as the trusted technical advisor and collaborate with Customer Success Managers focusing on improved customer value

  • Partner with Product, Services, and Customer Success Managers to enrich the end-to-end customer experience 

  • Consult with customers on best practices and use of PerkinElmer Informatics products

  • Provide roadmap updates and targeted product feature presentations to customers

  • Develop a Customer Success demo practice including building a library of customer demos, streamlining and curating the demo library content, and enable best practices for demo delivery

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability and confidence to interact with technical and scientific personnel at a variety of levels

  • Ability to collaborate easily, communicate effectively, and inspire and influence other. Compelling presentation skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific domain (Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, etc.) or commensurate relevant experience

  • Demonstratable technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Experience within a software environment, preferably SaaS 

  • Experience of customer facing software consulting or presales capacity

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on high-priority and time-sensitive issues

  • Experience in life sciences or industrial chemical markets.

  • Desire to explore and the curiosity to learn

  • Willingness and ability to travel
