Location(s) Columbus, Ohio, Finland, Krakow (City), Poland, Mechelen, Belgium, Paris, France, Seer Green, United Kingdom, Waltham, Massachusetts Status Regular Job ID JR-033354The Global Marketing Automation Specialist (Eloqua) will be an In-house expert on technical configuration, integration, and coordination of our Marketing Automation Platform and CRM. They will implement, integrate, and provide road maps for future technology solutions, scoping requirements and needs to deliver impactful enhancements to our overall Marketing and Sales technology stack.
Functional Responsibilities
Answer requests and conduct projects around Marketing Automation architecture (using Eloqua or other platforms in the future) across the PerkinElmer organization
Understand how to leverage data flows between Eloqua and SFDC
Understand Marketing Automation maintenance requirements would be a plus, particularly in Eloqua
Comprehend how marketing data is collected with pixels, cookies and their related tag managers and software - Google Tag Manager (GTM), Facebook, Google Adwords, Segment and others
Ability to understand web design and support its integration with Marketing Automation including technologies like Google Tag Manager, Adobe Dynamic Tag Management (DTM), Conversion Pixels and others
Thorough, rigorous testing and validation of data
Identifies and oversees testing, develops training materials, and supports business team initiatives
Debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting data solutions and dashboards
Some experience using and building BI dashboards - Google Data Studio, Tableau would be a plus
Assess business operational project risk and takes appropriate mitigation actions
Triage data collection issues (numbers “not matching up,” “tags” not firing, etc.)
Business Responsibilities
Ensure PerkinElmer is appropriately leveraging the functionality available within Oracle Eloqua, SFDC & other marketing systems
Advise on best practices and support training of key stakeholders in the marketing and sales organization with respect to the marketing technology capabilities, functionality, and testing
Ability to communicate with managers and leaders across the organization mainly, but not limited to marketing and IT
In coordination with other team members, engage with automation system provider to communicate needs, functional requirements, and reporting.
Manage marketing automation requests/projects from gathering requirements to delivery while ensuring involvement and satisfaction of all key stakeholders
Identify and drive change management actions and communication mechanisms
Educate business team members on business processes and system functionality
Share lessons learned across the business and global commercial regions
Actively participate to review of marketing automation technologies
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution
5 plus years of professional experience providing systems analysis; and software development, implementation, and support of marketing automation tools
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree preferred
2-3 years of experience of software development
5-8 years of international process, systems, and tools oversight experience preferred
Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email marketing
Intermediate knowledge of Google Tag Manager features (variables, tags, triggers, etc.)
Basic knowledge of tracking methods (data layers, tracking objects, etc.)
Thorough understanding of lead management/lifecycle and how to analyze and develop actionable recommendations for improving programs
Experience developing and maintaining data hygiene/normalization programs
Fast Learner - Can achieve power-user status on multiple tools quickly
Knowledge of data segmentation, dynamic content, and email measurement
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail
Agility to quickly adjust priorities and shift direction while maintaining poise and a professional demeanor
Ability to work quickly and independently while under deadline pressure and follow through on assignments
Basic knowledge of media platform implementations (Facebook, Google Ads, etc.)
Proficient using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to build strong working relationships with global cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the organization’s efficient operation and success
Skilled communicator; comfortable and experienced at multiple levels
Ability to travel to foreign countries
Requires 10% travel on occasion
