Increase sales volumes, achieve, and possibly overachieve the sales targets on his/her territory in respect of PKI strategy.
Sell the company’s products or services directly to end-users.
Provides quality service to PerkinElmer’s internal andexternalcustomers in all assigned tasks, while upholding PerkinElmer’s Values at all times
Developandmaintainterritory coverage plan with designated territoryteam.
Sell the company’s products or services directly to end-users.
Reviews his own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceedtargets.

Achieves assigned sales quotas by maximizing promotion and sales activity ofPerkinElmer’sproducts.
Consultative sales and promotion of products within customer segments in assignedterritory.
Develops and maintains territory coverage plan with designatedterritory.
Settargets and review for all directreportersin consultation with DGMSales.
Succession planning of directs.
Communicateregularly with all members of assigned territoryteam.
Market development activities: Focus on development and maintenance of key accounts, regional reference sites
Frequents market feedback on products, competition and market conditionsinProduct Marketing
Develops and maintains territory specific information relative to competitors and distributors in the marketmix.
Activeprobes for all PerkinElmer’s products and refer leads to the appropriate salesrepresentative.
Generates ideas that contribute to territory, business unit, company mission and profitability.
Close sales opportunities and regularly updating Sales Force Dot Com.
Develops and implements the business plan in region.
Basic Qualifications
Education: Any graduate/postgraduatepreferably Science
Required work experience related to position:5-10years.

Accurate forecasting capability
Develops a strong, realistic salespipeline.
Supports business development deals (deal model, diligence, integration, etc.)
Lead an indirectspendinginitiative.

Deep market knowledge in specific areas

Manages sales function/process.

Business Planning
Present plans/results to BE Leadership
Providesaccuratesalesforecasts.
Effectively manages keyprojects.
Executes key projects for salesfunction.
Works on sales force effectiveness projects
Preferred Characteristics
Strong closing skills. Prior attendance at formal sales training courses a plus.
Organizational skills for proper territory planning/management.
Working knowledge of healthcare, and environmental market segments within assigned territory.
Demonstrated record of achievement in prior sales position.
Excellent oral, written and telephone skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position.
Computer literate with knowledge of word processing applications and Excel spreadsheets.
Strong intrapersonal skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
Hardworking, persistent, and dependable.
