Location(s): Cambridge, UK
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our marketing team to support our Horizon Discovery Services business.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and lead the strategy for product launches by developing and delivering multi-channel launch plans in alignment with the business strategy
- Create product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonate with the target audience, working in collaboration with product management
- Lead and coordinate the creation of relevant promotional content including website, white papers, blogs, technical articles, application notes and flyers that address the buyer journey
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the target personas, buyer journey, product portfolio, market trends and competitors, and champion the product portfolio across the marketing eco-system
- Manage the development and delivery of the content marketing plan to support the marketing campaigns working with internal and external content specialists and writers as required
- Define strategic direction for Website; and create and optimize website content to provide an engaging user experience that supports the buyer journey
- Work in partnership with the Channel Managers to ensure the strategic programming is supported through the execution of digital marketing activities including email, nurture programs, search marketing, digital advertising; and offline activities such as events
- Supply stories and content for PR and social media
- Communicate marketing plans and campaigns with internal stakeholders as appropriate
- Analyze and report on marketing performance and use findings to drive continuous improvement
- Manage allocated budgets and report regularly on spend and programming performance

Qualifications:
- Minimum 7-10 years product or portfolio marketing experience
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Biology
- Experience of working across the marketing mix including online and offline channels
- Experience working in life science or related market required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of Salesforce.com and marketing automation systems desirable
Travel Requirement: Some travel to conferences/tradeshows, sales meetings and customer sites. Domestic and some International may be required.
