PerkinElmer Informatics (PKI), the global leader in scientific analytics SaaS solutions, is seeking a seasoned Sr. Manager of Marketing Analytics & Operations to drive effective execution, efficient investment, and accountability across the marketing department. A key player in the marketing management team, this role will focus on delivering actionable insights for optimized performance, building efficient processes and frameworks to deploy programs, and ensure effective use and integration of our marketing tech stack.
The Sr. Manager of Marketing Analytics & Operations is a hybrid role of hands-on doer and leader who is expected to build out the marketing operations function at PerkinElmer Informatics while rallying the team around them to improve execution and drive greater return on marketing spend and activities. This role will work with and hire both internal and external resources to ensure the strategic development, continuous improvement, and ongoing success of marketing programming and delivery. As the owner of the marketing tech stack and truth-teller of our advertising performance, the Marketing Operations function is the central nervous system and should feel accountable to PerkinElmer Informatics’ overall GTM success. Furthermore, your skills in marketing analytics will be key for pointing the way to what we need to drive that accountability and ultimately what we build to support it.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Automation & Campaign Operations
Serve as Administrator of the Marketing Automation Platform, overseeing data management, automation rules, and integration with Salesforce, etc.
Helps drive segmentation strategy for nurture and demand gen programs
Manage and enhance our lead scoring model to route, prioritize and nurture leads
Oversee overall database health through reporting and hygiene programs aimed at improved deliverability, mailability, and profile completeness
Establish baselines for performance across all marketing programs and channels
Develop reporting dashboards to provide real-time insights into campaign performance, manage leads, track activity, ensure quality, report on trends, and measure marketing and sales goals
Define or refine the attribution model to accurately report on marketing impact on pipeline and revenue
Promote a culture of data-driven decision making and outcome-focused execution
Operational Excellence
Build and optimize the marketing tech stack for improved efficiency and effectiveness aimed at consolidation and improved adoption
Architect the integrations between Martech, CRM, and other disparate systems to build strategic marketing and sales programs and provide transparency into performance
Reports out performance of the department budget and program spend by channel and team
Shepherd the adoption, management, and ongoing review of operational processes
Support the marketing team's planning, budget management, project management, platform/tools management, and interdepartmental communications processes
Architects our systems and Martech roadmap, working with other PKI operations stakeholders.
Understanding of sales and product life cycles and their respective pressures on the marketing organization to drive demand and revenue.

Basic Qualifications:
BS or BA degree
3+ years’ experience in a Marketing leadership role with direct reports
5+ years of Marketing Operations experience
3+ years of experience developing and leading analytic models including SQL vs MQL, LTCV, campaign ROAS, customer segmentations, propensity, funnel velocity or pipeline contribution.
3 + years Hands on experience with DemandBase and CRM tools- Salesforce, Eloqua, Acquia, Sprinklr, or Pardot.
Preferred Qualifications:
Marketing Operations experience in a high-growth ad agency/B2B tech / SaaS
Experience building and reporting on marketing attribution models or utilizing systems that do.
Knowledge of Tibco Spotfire preferred but more importantly, demonstrable software analytics skills in building dashboards and visualizing data to tell a story and glean actionable insights in systems like Spotfire, Power BI and Tableau.
Proven experience in project management and program improvement, having constructed plans that demonstrate critical marketing paths and task dependencies
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required, delivering complex messages and concepts to the audience in a simple manner
Ability to manage and empower a cross-functional team situated across different geographies to rally around shared objectives and priorities
Proven track record collaborating with external vendors and agencies and internal cross-functional teams to drive desired outcomes
Can take complex ideas and concepts and simplify them to advance your ideas.
Experience planning, buying, and executing dynamic digital media plans.
Experience with third party ad serving technologies
Excellent business planning and presentation skills. A data storyteller who can influence others and build consensus.
Familiarity with GA, SA360, Salesforce, Acquia, Asana,– or similar tools
Background or experience in SaaS and/or scientific software field highly preferred, particularly in pharma, health, industrial sciences, Food, Flavor, fragrance, agrochemical, and oil and gas.
Competent analytics experience a huge plus to assist with data gathering projects and dashboard builds that enable continuous learning
