Field Application Scientist - MatChar

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales representatives on client visits and sales discussions, serving as a technical advisor to provide professional information and product demonstrations, assisting clients in making informed purchasing decisions. Work closely with suppliers, partners, and the sales team to ensure systematic solutions are delivered to both new and existing customers.
• Conduct sample demonstrations and test runs in the application laboratory; develop and implement new methods and technologies to provide effective solutions for clients.
• Deliver post-sales technical support, including software and application training, troubleshooting, and method development.
• Gain in-depth understanding of clients' current and future needs, and design corresponding application strategies accordingly.
• Engage with the scientific community, industry, and market through key application projects, academic publications, conference presentations, and patents.

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in method development using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Ultraviolet Spectroscopy (UV), and Thermal Analysis (TEA) systems, with particular familiarity with TEA and its hyphenated technologies and related applications.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate and coordinate internal and external resources to solve problems and effectively address customer needs.
• Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning.
